Experimental, curious, philosophical and perceptive in his art – this is Cappatography.

The stunning visuals of Kevin “Cappa” Way’s photographs capture beautiful imagery of urban landscapes to the human form from a unique perspective.  He draws out a grittiness in his photography that is sincere and by that, his work is highly naturalized with a not so overly polished presence.  A common theme throughout his young collective.

A photo of a bustling Manhattan avenue or a group of partygoers at a Hip Hop event is put on display with just the same sight as Cappa’s eyes and his lens has captured it.

Self-described as a Project Photographer, Cappa is always open to new ideas with his subjects.  One of his catalog projects, the eerie Happy…Birthday where a lover discovers her partner’s affair is an example of his willingness to adopt and adapt his subject’s imagination with detailed visual execution.
